In 1966 a hostel, named Founders House (in honour of the 110 founder boarders) was built on campus. The School and Founders house stand in approximately 4 |

hectares of playing fields and garden.
It has accommodation for (males only) 120 boarders as well as a Superintendent and several resident staff.
The kitchen is managed by Capitol Caters and provides the learners with a fully balanced diet of three square meals a day. A Junior and Senior common room is available to the boys, both facilitated with DSTV.
The boarders are carefully looked after by five boarder masters, two matrons and Superintendent all of whom ensure good behaviour and focused studies, and has provided an increasingly homely atmosphere for the boys.

It has been officially noted that the first Saturday in February each year, will be the day known as “Alexandra High School Annual Reunion” for all old Alexandrians to gather at Alexandra High School.
Next year 6 February 2010 will be our first “Alexandra High School Annual Reunion” and a very momentous event, as Alex will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary (Gold Jubilee Year).
A school that has changed with the times that every Alexandrian, past and present pupils can be proud of! |
